Who keeps CCI's equipment and facilities running smoothly? Meet Mark Speer. Mark is CCI's Chief Engineer and is responsible for the maintenance of CCI's equipment and facilities. Mark oversees the day to day upkeep and repair of everything from cameras to the CCI mobile production units.
Experience
Fifteen years direct professional experience in engineering, electronics and television production.
Mark is CCI's Engineer in charge of multicamera productions, video engineering, equipment repair, production planning and coordination and electrician.
He is responsible for design, construction and maintenance of mobile production units, studio production and post production facilities, permanent and temporary downlink and terrestrial links including satellite and microwave, television master control, boardroom public address conference and digital multitrack recording systems.
Mark has taken part in nearly every multicamera production done by CCI since 1991.
Mark received his B.S. in Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida as well as his A.S. and A.A. degrees from Brevard Community College.
When he isn't maintaining CCI's equipment inventory and production shoots, Mark enjoys writing and performing music with his band where he plays guitar. He also finds time to explore his interest in muscle cars, hot rodding, motorcross and home improvement projects.
