Television / Radio Shows look at "Best of Health"

"Best of Health," co-produced by National Health Review and Communications Concepts, utilizes both television and radio formats to share the expertise of local healthcare professionals.

The 1/2-hour monthly television show debuts this Saturday, Aug. 7, on ION TV on WOPX TV-56, as well as on Bright House Cable Channel 16 in Orlando and Cable Channel 4 in Brevard County.

Moderated by Victoria Lambert, who hosted a live family program on WTGL TV 52 and can also be currently seen on Univision, "Best of Health" adds a local spin to current wellness and healthcare topics through a series of six-and-a-half-minute segments.

The show airs the first Saturday at 10:30 am, second Wednesday at 10:30 am and third Monday at 1pm of each month. ION TV reaches more than 1.3 million viewers, averaging .8HH rating, better than most cable networks.

The "Best of Health" 1/2 -hour radio show airs the first Saturday at 11:00 am, the second Sunday at Noon and the third Saturday at 7:30 am of every month on WMEL AM Radio. Audio from the television segments will also be heard on the radio version of the show.

Launched in 2006 by Cynthia Cintron Calhoun, National Health Review is the recipient of four Addy Awards for excellence in production.

Owned by Jim Lewis, Communications Concepts, Inc. is a complete in-house television production facility located in Cape Canaveral. CCI won a team Emmy for television coverage of the John Glenn Space Shuttle Launch. Other CCI projects have included a competition reality series for Women's Entertainment Network / WE Network and the 2008 television series, “The Space Show.”
