Communications Concepts, Inc. Celebrates 25 Years

Jan 20, 2003. January 2003--Communications Concepts, Inc. is pleased to announce celebration of a company milestone. This year marks CCI's 25th Anniversary. Jim Lewis founded CCI in 1978 and what began as a one man shop has grown into a leader in the audio visual production industry.

Lewis, is proud of the development of the company over the years. He says, "When we started CCI, our mission statement focused on being an audio visual production company, dedicated to quality. Over the years, we have stayed on that course, not going after low dollar work, even when times have been tight, and it has always paid off, not just financially, but in getting us the projects that we can really be proud of."

CCI's programs have received numerous awards including an Emmy from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences for television coverage of the John Glenn launch. The company's work has also twice received the honor of Best Corporate Film/Video from the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association (FMPTA), recognition from the International Television Association (ITVA), the Society for Technical Communications and the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

Lewis is proud of the awards but says, "It is more than about just winning awards, our productions meet our clients needs and they stay with us. People want quality."

Canaveral Port Authority Assistant Director of Economic Development, Susan Cossey, says, "CCI has consistently done a good job when I've needed them. They are responsive to my requests and I can rely on them to artistically produce in a final product exactly what I had envisioned it to be."

Canaveral Port Authority is one of four clients that have been with CCI since its beginning. They, along with Cape Canaveral Hospital, Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Stottler Stagg & Associates have a long relationship with CCI. CCI honored these long time clients at the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet in January by presenting each company a plaque in appreciation for their commitment to CCI.

As CCI heads into the future, the company can be proud of its accomplishments. Heidi Brandow, President/CEO of the Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, says "CCI has played a very important role in our chamber as well as in Brevard County. Jim and his staff have supported many organizations, businesses and individuals throughout the last 25 years. Their expertise in filming has helped capture all that is special and wonderful about our community. We are fortunate to have this wonderful company serving our area."
