CCI's Work Wins ADDY Awards
Apr 4, 2003. (Cape Canaveral, Florida) - Communications Concepts, Inc. is the proud recipient of two ADDY Awards from the Space Coast Advertising Federation. CCI won a Gold ADDY for an interactive CD Program developed for Port Canaveral. A Silver ADDY was awarded to CCI for an internet banner ad created for the Space Coast Office of Tourism.
The awards were presented at the 19th Annual ADDY Awards and Banquet held at the Cocoa Beach Hilton on Saturday March 1st. The ADDY Awards are intended to recognize outstanding achievement in the development of advertising, marketing and promotional materials.
The CD-ROM titled Maritime Opportunities was produced by CCI for distribution to high school students to inform them of various career opportunities associated with the Port. CCI Client Services and Sales Representative, Barry Eager, presented the Port with a framed copy of the ADDY Award at a recent meeting of the Port Commission. Canaveral Port Authority Assistant Director for Economic Development, Susan Cossey, said, "Canaveral Port Authority was extremely pleased to partner with CCI on the production of the Maritime Opportunities CD-ROM. To win a Gold ADDY Award is indeed an honor and a tribute to the creative ability and expertise of the CCI team."
The animated ad banner that won CCI a Silver ADDY was developed for placement on the FLAUSA.com website to drive visitors interested in eco-tourism and vacationing at the beach to the Space Coast.
Out of more than 100 entries judged, CCI was one of 33 who won a Gold ADDY and one of 36 to receive a Silver.
CCI's work now moves on to judging in the District level of competition, which includes the entire state of Florida and the Caribbean.
