Communications Concepts, Inc. Announces Hiring of Writer and Public Relations Specialist, Darren DiPatri
Nov 7, 2005.
Communications Concepts, Inc. (CCI), of Cape Canaveral, continued its expansion and enhancements to its staff by announcing the hiring of writer and public relations specialist, Darren DiPatri. DiPatri will manage the company's internal and external written communications--including scriptwriting, copywriting and editing--and all media relations efforts.
DiPatri joins CCI from Washington, DC, where he served as account executive and editorial specialist for Carmen Group Communications, formerly The Kamber Group, which was at one time the largest individually-owned public relations firm in the nation. In his tenure with the two communications firms, DiPatri serviced a wide variety of clients, from national labor unions to trade organizations to healthcare organizations. Prior to that, DiPatri worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation, serving as senior information analyst for Lockheed's contract with the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
According to CCI Vice President and General Manager Jim Lewis, "We're excited to have Darren on-board, not only because of the public relations experience he brings to the table, but also because it's been a long time since we've had a fulltime writer on staff. We jumped at the chance to add someone with his experience and talent to our growing team."
"There's no question CCI is a growing company and that they are making exciting moves in the right direction," said DiPatri. "It's no accident that they've been in business for almost thirty years and have a terrific reputation in the community. In addition to having a solid, local client base, they are currently in an expansion mode. I saw the opportunity as a chance to help and begin contributing immediately in this new and exciting phase."
DiPatri's primary responsibility will be scriptwriting for CCI's lucrative and cutting-edge video department, but he will also contribute to the growth of CCI's sister companies, MediaInk and CanTech, Inc.
"We have some exciting things planned for this year and next," concluded Lewis. "Obviously, the launch of our new high definition facility located at Universal Studios is something the entire organization is excited about, and we will continue to hire for key positions at CCI HD Orlando. We continue to make significant enhancements to our mobile broadcast capabilities, and we've made key technological upgrades to our editing suite, so this is an exciting time for CCI."
